My life is in a bit of turmoil at present. So... I'm not hibernating but I haven't been around "here" either. I'm putting a lot of time into facebook because of the music. I no longer work at the casino. I had personal reasons for leaving, nothing to do with the job. But now of course I'm finding life to be outrageously difficult without an income. So..... I want all my friends to know that I'm still kickin' and that I will post from time to time, but that I've got a severely limited amount of time to spend on DA. ....Maybe, I don't know. Some things are getting better and a few getting worse. But, like the rest of the Northern Hemisphere I'm coming out of my cocoon. I've tried my hand at some new photo effects on the upgraded Picassa editing program and like what I'm seeing. Let me know what you think.

I have started a new project photographically. I'm documenting the blues music scene in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A subject close to my heart. I have posted some photos of blues musicians before, but now I'm involved personally with the subject, as I've been sitting in, singing with a great blues band called The Memphis P Tails. Every Tuesday night there is a blues jam at Ned's on the Rio Grande, hosted by The Memphis P Tails, led by Darin Goldston, guitar maestro and blues crusader.
